First time customer... Easy to make the appointment for my 2014 Ford Expedition. Drop-off was effortless. Good communication with what was needed, and the prices were fair. Pick-up was easy, and I was on my way. I will be bringing my vehicle back again for ongoing service. I will also be bringing in my 2003 Ford Expedition for its first service at this shop. Yes, I have old school vehicles (10-plus years old and no car payments) and this shop seems well equipped to handle my needs. At the end of the day, I had a good experience, I trust them, and I am coming back.

I brought Joe at Schneiders a 20 year old Ford Thunderbird that had several major problems. Parts are difficult to obtain on this very limited-edition car. Schneiders managed to repair everything needed to make certain the car was roadworthy and safe. Now the car runs and handles perfectly.

Honest, clean well organized shop. Has been a blessing to trust a garage again! They have performed service and repairs on all 4 of our vehicles. Has been very helpful with a terrible purchase of a used vehicle for our daughters first car. Have only had direct contact with Joe, Ken and Paula. I had a dilemma on where to take my car for what I thought was a very expensive repair. I brought it in to Schneider's and was thrilled to find out that it wasn't what I thought it was. Joe, Ken and team wonderful to work with. No upselling or trying to convince me to do something. I would definitely take my car back to Schneider's.

I rarely write reviews, but had such a great experience at Schneider’s that I need to shout them out! I drove up from LA to check out a used hybrid from a nearby dealership, and chose to get a pre-purchase inspection from the team after researching local mechanics and reading all the other great reviews. When I called, they were super helpful and able to fit me in the next morning (right before the weekend, no less). When I arrived, Joe, the Service Manager, took great care of me. He was friendly, told me what to expect, was able to get the car checked out quickly, sent me a handy digital copy of the PPI, and gave me great peace of mind in my soon-to-be purchase—plus a few helpful mindset tips on negotiating at the dealership. (Which I used successfully!) I really trust their expertise, and the price was very reasonable too. If I lived in town, I would definitely make them my mechanic!

I wish I had not trusted this auto repair shop with my vehicle. I had 2 conversations with Ken the owner before agreeing to bring my car here. He sounded so convincing that he really knew how to fix my car. They were paid over $1300 cash and my vehicle is still not fixed. Check engine light is still on for what I brought it in for. This is not good business. It started at the beginning of April then after it appeared fixed about 150 miles later light comes back on for same code. Take it back again. Starting 5/1 they had it for 17 days straight and it would go days without being touched and little time worked on . Kept taking on new jobs and ours sat with very little time devoted to it. Poor communication with no updates. When calling for updates told Ken will call back and he never did. Kept telling him we need this car back. Had to show up on the property to find out updates which were vague. Clearly he didn’t know what he was doing. Finally it dragged on for so long it was clear he didn’t know how to fix but won’t admit it. After doing research on our own were told by multiple mechanics all these parts (pump and 2 check valves) had to be all OEM parts or the system will keep throwing codes. He refused to put OEM for all the parts. He finally agreed to put in the OEM pump but check valves are aftermarket. Then says see I knew that wasn’t the problem even though he never put in OEM valves. On day 17 of him having our vehicle we requested our money back and to put the car back together so we could drive it home. He refuses to refund our money even though he hasn’t fixed our car. He did put it back together so it could be driven. This is the first time ever to have a horrible experience with a mechanic. I have delayed leaving this review hoping he would make it right. Warning to everyone beware of this shop. Communication needs to improve greatly. I sure need my $1300+ since the vehicle was not fixed and now it has to go to another mechanic for repair for the same thing . We have lived in Simi for 26 yrs and know a lot of people in the community.. He will not be getting any referrals for business from us. Ken & Paula if you read this I sure hope you will reconsider.
